At “The Angels” we ought to save the lives of others by extending our hand. This can be done at relatively little cost to ourselves.
Because of the level of poverty, human sufferings as a result of being abandoned, alienated or segregated, we at “The Angels” believes that giving to charity is neither charitable nor generous; it is no more than our duty and not giving would be wrong.
Suffering and death caused by lack of food, shelter, or medical care are bad. If it is in our power to prevent something bad from happening, without sacrificing anything of comparable moral importance, we ought, morally, to do it.
At “The Angels” the duty of care includes care for others especially those with special needs. We believe that our desires to realize our own potential cannot be reached if others in our communities are living in misery.
If we are living comfortably while others are hungry or dying from easily preventable diseases, and we are doing nothing about it, there is something wrong with our behavior.
At “The Angels”, we commit ourselves to direct our energies, our resources, and our choices towards the search for a more just and caring society.
We believe the answer to many of these societal challenges (orphans, HIV/AIDS, hunger, homelessness, etc.) is to nurture a caring society. A society that is not consumed by material wealth or consumerism but a society that works together and addresses its problems in a collective manner.
We must start with ourselves as Gandhi said, “be the change you want to see in the world.” We have to be caring and compassionate not just to our family members but also to our neighbors and friends. We must not exclude those who face problems or challenges but do our best to help out in any we can whether financially or morally.
We all have a duty of care
Our vision is to come together and bring life to the disadvantaged children by assisting them to overcome poverty, hunger, and inequity.
This mission shall be met by enabling the disadvantaged children to access education which is key to making a difference in their life family and communities.
We advocate for a more responsible society
Our mission is to empower and provide opportunities to the disadvantaged children (Orphans and children in the harsh /difficult environment) so that their physical emotional and social needs are satisfied.
